Job Description
The role of Product Manager (PM) for e-commerce (website, OMS) is essential within our development team. Integrated into the digital tech products: e-commerce engine and order management, the product manager ensures the vision of the back-end e-commerce product, supporting front-end experiences and implementing the order management strategy. They also ensure the implementation of the technical roadmap for the components for which they are the PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Definition of the vision: Define a clear vision for the back-end e-commerce component (SFCC) and order management (OMS Tecsys) in collaboration with the delivery managers, aligning with the company’s objectives and taking into account feedback from stakeholders and users.
- Backlog management: Develop, prioritize, and maintain the backlog of features, improvements, and bug fixes. Ensure proper priority management and alignment of the backlog by value for product or epic topics, whether they are technical or functional.
- Iteration planning: Plan sprints and iterations in collaboration with development teams, ensuring that goals are achievable and aligned with the product vision.
- Communication and collaboration: Facilitate communication and collaboration between development team members, stakeholders, and users to ensure a common understanding of needs and priorities.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of requirements, specifications, and evolutions of the components.
- Feature validation: Actively participate in the testing and validation phases of developed features, ensuring they meet defined quality criteria.
- Performance measurement: Monitor and analyze performance metrics, identifying optimization opportunities and making data-driven decisions.
- Risk management: Identify risks related to deployed features and address them with the teams.
- Training and support: Provide support to consuming teams, especially digital products and SODA front, in implementing digital experiences.
- Promote product advancement within the company by ensuring positive and effective communication about achievements.
- Ensure the evolution of the technical stack (patch/update, technical debt management, security improvements, innovation, etc.).
Requirements and Qualifications
- Work experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of backend technologies and BFF architecture concepts.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Ability to work closely with developers, designers, and stakeholders.
- Customer-centric mindset with a constant focus on user experience.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
