About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Representative to join our team in France. As a key member of our founding team, you will be responsible for identifying and researching potential clients, generating and qualifying leads, and collaborating with our sales and marketing teams to optimize outreach strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and research potential clients in the French e-commerce market
- Generate and qualify leads using multiple outreach channels and initial prospection calls
- Qualify inbound leads and schedule meetings or demos for the sales team
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to optimize outreach strategies
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and lead interactions in our CRM
Requirements
- 1-2 years of experience in sales, lead generation, or business development, preferably in marketplace seller sourcing or B2B SaaS
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Comfortable using CRM tools and outreach platforms
- Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and achieve goals
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of the French e-commerce landscape and hands-on experience with e-commerce related software/SaaS products
- Native or bi-lingual French, full proficiency in English (C2), other European languages or Chinese is a plus
